Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, s/he just said that it's Evangelion's opening music to RahXephon's opener. I don't think there's anything obscene about it. Actually, isn't this more like a MAD than an AMV? Also, it sounds like he didn't really do any editing :?

oh btw, about the gainax thing, its just an observation conserning the opening song of rahxephon. coz there are many parts in the opening movie that synchronizes with the beat of zankoku no tenshi no teeze song. i think gainax did this intentionally. its just my opinion though..

Yes, but what I was saying was, how could GAiNAX do it intentionally if (1) RahXephon came after NGE, and (2) RahXephon wasn't by GAiNAX?

Pwned...... There are alot of speculations out there between the similarities between Rah and NGE.....however the truth of the matter is, that they are different, very. Go back and watch RAH, with the intention to NOT compare them

Clearly Scintilla is unaware of the Gainax Time Machine project.

The ultra-flashy Kare Kano was release, this anime was used to stun security who watched the show at Nippon Industrial Experimtal Labratories in Hokaido. Gainax personality then penitrated the facility and stole a series of flux capacitors and a Tesla coil.

Using these stolen impliments, Gainax has the ability to go back in time to make more money off of Evangelion.

Like, duh.

I'm not sure what's worse. The fact that all you really did was mux in different audio to the Fansub OP, or that it ACTUALLY syncs up in a pretty freakin' scary way. O.o

Well, if the intro is synched to a song in one time scheme (4/4 or whatever), then it should be loosely synched to one in another.

This is why you remove Eminem rapping from one of his CDs, and replace the background music with pretty much anything you like and still have it fit. Great fun.

So.... your video consists of using the opening music for Video A as the opening music for Video B right? In its entirety. Real editing challenge there.

Wow... you could do maybe CardCaptor Sakura music to a Full metal panic intro...

Or Cowboy bebop for Trigun...

The posibilities are endless.
I think it's really a conspiracy, you know like the way models in beer commercials are always hot looking. Possibly, now bear with me here: Possibly because the intros are about the same length, and seem to feature gigantic funky looking mecha thingys we mentally draw a conclusion. Like when someone spells *Dum ss rant.*
