Ryoga is great. But I don´t like the series that much. It´s just too slow in its development, too many episodes have the same content. The first season is awesome, the second too, and with the 3rd.... it becomes somehow boring.

The animation in the later seasons the so called "Oav" animation really sucked. But the characters designs and the animation in the first couple seasons is excellent. I would never list animation being old as reason not to watch a show hell speed racer has excellent animation. The animation used in ranma one half is superior to half assed computer generated stuff found in alot of animes today.

Mr Oni
Purity is wackable!

and, for one of those rare occasions, I find myself agreeing with Oni...why is it people always assume that, since the animation is older, it has to be crap? Hell, I personally find the animation in some of the older shows (for the sake of examples: Aura Battler Dunbine, Macross, SOME Lupin III, and Zeta Gundam) to actually be better looking than quite a few more modern works (...of course, maybe that's just me)

Well FY is a shojo manga. Though ya, it looks weird on my shelf now >.< one set is taller than the other. Though volume 9 is supposed to have that cover J-0080, so it says I believe in my artbook.

Well, the way they had the others looked cooler. It gave it a sense of being an old, worn, book.....and the fact that its a shojo manga is aside the point, afterall, I am not a girl.

I was referring to your 'it's look all pink and girly' comment with the shojo.

Exactly, they could of at least kept the more neutral colors....since I'm sure there were just as many guys as girls reading it despite its shojo classification.

True enough, though it doesn't change the fact that that is how Yuu Watase drew the cover for it.
