Which voice actors you prefer?
Shore you see anime in many languages, in which one you prefer to see anime, or which voice actors is the best in your opinion? English, Japanese, or else?

I've only seen anime in Japanese, English, Spanish and Italian, so I can't speak for a wide range. I prefer anime in Japanese - especially if the characters are supposed to *be* Japanese - just helps fit the voices better, and sounds 'right' to me.
My favorite voice actors are Megumi Ogata and Hiiyama Nobuyuki. Anyone who knows me can guess who they do the voices for, but aside from their 'voice actor' skills, Their singing is great. I really like their songs, separate and together. I haven't heard any songs of theirs that I didn't like.
[Yes, yes, they do the voices for Kurama and Hiei from YYH, just in case someone couldn't guess as much. ;p ]

For me, it depends also on anime, for example:
DBZ, I saw it in Japanese, English, and France. I prefer France voice actors in this series.
Slam dunk, I saw it in Japanese and Arabic. I prefer Arabic voice actors in it.
But usually I prefer Japanese voice actors especially in action animes because they join with anime more than others do, and their screams are perfect.

I prefer Japanese, of course... my favorite VA is probably Ueda Yuji (which is why I can't stand the dubbed version of Kenshin--they bastardized Sano's voice!
) It seems like there's another VA I really like and recognize each time I hear it, but I can't remember right now who it is. As for dubs, I like Dave Lucas. Wendelee Lee isn't bad either. (I don't count the Princess Mononoke dub as one, since it uses "real" actors--aka celebrities).

I watched the Directors Commentary version of The End of Evangelion and I have to say, Amanda Lee is one crazy bitch. She sounds like a cheerleader on crack constantly making ambegeous remarks and stuff. Totally unlike her character, Rei.
Which is a good thing because Rei is a freak.
