I didn't take what you wrote as an attack because all you stated was the truth. And since you already *knew* I was being sarcastic, I was sure you'd catch it in my reply. And I wasn't saying that *I* know everything, I was saying that *you* know everything - hence the exaggerated worshipping. You're just way too easy to ruffle, and since you'd all but ordered me to stop being sarcastic of *course* I had to practically coat myself in sarcasm in my reply. I'm sorry if you really take it as an attack.

Uhm...I still don't see how an informative rebuttal leads to an all out flammatory personal attack.

Sure it was obvious it was sarcastic, but that means I can't rebut it with facts and information as well as stating my dislike of the use of sarcasm? That this apparently means that I have some ulterior motive of self-promotion? Yeah...suuuuure.

Ruffle my feathers so easily? Uhm...Have you read your post? Accusing me of being angry that I'm not mentioned yeah that's the ticket? Accusing me and my friends of some ulterior motives and circle-jerking? As I said earlier, do and think as you please. It makes little difference to me.

I do possess those traits. That's why I said Dwchang had done nothing more than state the truth.

And for the record, I wasn't speaking of him in my references in the first post - I was confirming his warnings since I've seen that sort of thing before on the forums. If he takes it to be addressing him, then I'd ask whether or not he's done the things he mentioned - why would he automatically think I was speaking of him? He wasn't talking about me when he said some people would get annoyed, and I wasn't talking about him when I said "yes, I've seen how some people get annoyed and I know I've been annoyed when other people did that sort of thing". He took me to be talking about him. Why? Does he do that sort of thing?

I never said he did.

err ok, I didn't mean to start an argument but I'm sure there was a misunderstanding somewhere and no one was initially trying to be rude to the other so can we shake hands and make up? (seriously, I've reffed soccer games and having the captains shake hands before games helps out, I want to see you both post an honest hand-shaking, don't laugh.)

I was hoping to avoid continual promotion of a video by specifically requesting people post lesser known videos (ok guys I think fyrt's video has been promoted enough), but you might be right about this turning into an annoying repetition of the same videos dw (and i'm trying to avoid this), since you've had more experience with the VCAs.

I'm sorry to derail the thread, but I doubt there'll be a resolution to this. I expect the thread will be locked soon, and deleted. Dwchang and Phade don't want it here, not when there are months to go before the vca's and it will just get repeated then.

OMG guys it is just a contest... Who gives damn if the most popular vids win. Why the hell did they get popular???!! All that matters is that people believe in their own opinion and vote for who and what they like no matter how overused, tainted, etc. that it may be to others. Hell, maybe a DBZ/LP video will win something this year. O.o

AaannnyyyyWays Downwithpants, I posted that I'm for Fyrt's video before reading what has been posted elsewhere in this thread. It just goes to show that it may just win something. ^_^

Yes, please. This is turning into some ridiculous battle, and nothing good will ever come of it. And jbone just made it worse. If you guys want to argue so much, do it over AIM or PMs.
