Yep, there will be a nice, organised list of the site's database based on catagory when nominations open up. Or at least, there was last year...
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Something I remember was difficult last year : there were many many videos, and only the famous names came to mind when we had to choose which videos to vote for...
It's going to be more difficult this year, as there have been twice more videos...
(I remember that I printed the list last year at work...I don't remember how many pages there were but voting for the nominees was a real pain...)

Hum...anyway I'm not sure this problem could be solved ? Has somebody a brilliant idea ?

Another question : what about collaborative videos ? Will they be allowed to participate (which might be a bit unfair...), will they have their own category (maybe not enough such videos to do that...) ?

Well if the 2004 rules miraculously allow it, I'll enter my vid.

starts rape of classic lolly pop commerical:

How many years will it take I to get a nomination? the world may never know.

I wonder if koop will win like he did last year, since euphoria WAS this year, it is a great video, i'd like to see it win something.

I have no idea either. It's so simple and inferior to worms *shrug*

Actually this isn't really a solution, but more of a request. I at least tried to watch *all* the videos in a category back to back prior to voting and it seemed to help. I didn't just vote for big names b/c of that (I think). Not to be accusatory, but I think a lot of people don't even watch the videos and just pick a name they recognize. Then again, I guess it's too difficult (oh yeah impossible) to verify someone has seen them all. Oh well...it's just an online contest guys ;).

If by win you mean "Best Video of the Year," IIRC Ian won that with "Shameless Rock Video." I think Koop one something like "Best Character Profile." At the same time, I have very little doubt about him taking "Best Video of the Year" this year though.

I was just playin' around :P If I keep trying, eventually I'll get something right.

Last year he took more then 1 award home, I know that..

He won (for sure) best new creator (or most improved I forget).

This year I have no doubt he'll win.

Aren't making speculations kind of ruining the whole surprise (even though there are creators I know will win)?

Would you like some cheese with your whine?
For the love of all that is holy, at least spell it right so that the pun comes across.

Or use the direct route and say "Nemoxs: shut the fuck up, you whining bitch". Either work, although I prefer the latter.

I think Euphoria will be closely tied with Evolution. One has floating triangles; the other has piano keys. I, for one, cannot decide which wows me more.

Just wait, watch you-know-her get all her friends to join the site and then threaten to vote for Euphoria unless DW permits anal sex.
