I'd say the most evil villan is Nightmare (a.k.a. is stupid dub name Enemee) from Kirby. I mean he is a nightmare, everyones worst fear. I think he is definately the most evil.

Well there are a lot of villains but for me Knives from Trigun would have to be the evilest villain from an Anime that I have seen. He just wants to destroy everyone just from the hell of it. Even though there would only be Vash and Knives on the planet, he wouldn't care. Just look what he does to get into Vash's head. So Knives all of the way.

And yes, Freeza is also right up there. All he cares about is power, but unlike Knives, he didn't want to kill everyone.

Oh, and I wouldn't count any Final Fantasy Characters. Because they are there just to somehow destroy the World. That's the aim of the game. If Final Fantasy was like an Anime then I doubt it would be as popular. Could you see yourself playing a bunch of teenagers whose aim is to just get revenge? I can, but the game wouldn't be interesting than saving the planet. The aim of the Final Fantasy games I have played is to save the whole race somehow, not just do something in their own personal life. So if they need to save the planet, that means that there has to be some crazy dude behind it all. If you had to could Final Fantasy Characters then most of the main bosses should be on the top of that list.

Well, if were gonna judge villians by how much we hate them has characters, then theres really only one person who can truely win this catagory...

I mean, seriously, what villian has commited a crime greater than that? Its got to be up there. God I hated that guy so much. Honestly, how can that be the so called best series ever when almost every single character in whole show is annoying has hell, the main character being the worst of them all. It doesnt add up.

Not really. The movie isn't connecting to the series at all. If anything it's an entirely different story and Folken's intentions in the movie are far more selfish and evil then in the series (hell he's my favorite character in the TV series). In the movie, he's quite one-dimensional and a fairly stereotypical villain while in the series, he is a fairly complex character.

To answer the question, that's easy for me.

Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi. Sure the characters you guys are naming have killed people and other evil things, but this character single-handedly made a possibly good show...shitty and horrible. No other villain can claim that
