1) Vision of Escaflowne
2) Neon Genesis Evangelion (with End of Evangelion Movie)

Not a lot of romantic comedies are getting mentioned here.
Ranma 1/2, Love Hina, Golden Boy are very funny and are among my favorites.

Inuyasha is a long series that just gets better over time. Its a good series if your in the mood for a long fantasy series with some interesting story elements.

Well in my compiled list of good animes i have some romantic/comedies, and yes i do have love hina there. happy?

I bought Eva boxed set without ever seeing an episode, but it got back ordered (From what i've heard this happenes to lots of people who try and buy this anime) Also some guy rated it a one out of ten because he said it was impossible to understand. I'm hoping this guy was wrong. I"ll probably buy Escaflowne next, everyone seems to like it so much. Bubblegum Crisis was a close second though

it was an okay series, i think. i didn't get very interested in it though. i only saw a few episodes
