..and then..Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote: TIME does equate to quality though. Michelangelo took FOUR YEARS to paint the Sistine Chapel, not 4 days. Nearly every celebrated marvel of artistic achievement in human history took countless hours to produce. From the Notre Dame Cathedral, to the great Pyramids, to the Crazy Horse Memorial (a project which may take another FIFTY YEARS to complete). Even the anime series that so many of you rip apart to make your "art", some of it took DECADES of artistic creativity and work to produce the final results. TIME DOES EQUAL QUALITY. Anyone who thinks otherwise is most likely an ignorant fool or young and inexperienced.
..Am I missing something?Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:Conclusion? Time does not equal quality.

The first stance.Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:TIME does equate to quality...
Now you make exceptions.Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:...the aspect of time and how it's usually an essential part of what makes "good" art.
The opposite stance.Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:Conclusion? Time does not equal quality.
If you don't have an argument, why are you arguing? This is redundant, the contradictions are too open. Either hold to what you're saying or stop picking at people who say exactly what you say. First you argue with the ones who say 'time does not equal quality' and then you turn around and say "time does not equal quality."
Conclusion? Time does not equal quality
.
Great, we're all in agreement here. Topic closed.

Just posting what my English teacher told me, I may have misheard/misinterpreted her, but she said something along the lines of the play being started, stopped, refined, and finished over a period of ten years.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:um... wtf shakespeare biography have you been reading?SSJVegita0609 wrote:Shakespeare spent over 10 years writing Hamlet
There was probably a 10 year gap between him and Kyd writing the Ur-Hamlet and then him doing the Hamlet we now know but for all intents and purposes they are different plays that individually only took as long as plays usually took to write... which isn't very long.

If you don't have an argument, why a<WHACK>

Seriously, you might think about havin yer doc up yer Ritalin dosage if you can't even formulate enough coherency to tell when part of the message I replied to got munged into my post. I mean, HELLO, did you read the post of the guy before me? See anything familiar in there? *shakes head*
I think that some of you must like only read and reply to my posts but you must not actually read any of the other posts that people are making in response to mine. Either that or some of you are just REALLY stupid...

No, that was reality. If some of you are so utterly fucking retarded that you can't even remember what the person RIGHT BEFORE ME said...wow...what the fuck are you even doing here? Serious, go find a Pokemon thread, I think that'd be more your speed.SSJVegita0609 wrote: That was lame, Hatter.

How about I just expect less next time, that way I won't be so surprised.Try harder next time...

If it's a simple enough mistake that you made it, it's a simple enough mistake that others might reasonably not catch it. As I have yet to see any reasonability from you in this thread, I suppose that might not be surprising.Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:Jebus Fjuck, are you people even READING this thread?Arigatomyna wrote:The opposite stance.Onideus_Mad_Hatter wrote:Conclusion? I can highly recommend the 'preview' feature for checking you made no accidents in posting.
