I just joined and need help

i can't seem to download videos. Everyone i download pops and only plays the music how do i download them and does any one know any good inuyasha videos?

First, there's a two week waiting period for local vids if you haven't donated - after two weeks you'll be able to download those.

If you're getting vids (direct and indirect links?) and they only play the audio (no visual), you're probably missing a codec (are they avi files?) - go to http://www.doom9.org and to the 'downloads' page and get the 'Gordian Knot Codec Pack' - that will set you up to play most vids on Windows Media Player.

So basicly newbies have to wait 2 weeks before they could download videos?

Only the locally hosted vids (the ones with the green LOCAL) in the download section. They can get the direct and indirect, but since the site pays to host the local vids, you have to either wait 2 weeks (to make sure you'll come back) or donate to the Golden Donut (donations pay for the hosting service). If you have a local vid you want to get and you can't wait, you might try contacting the creator in hopes of getting it sooner (aim transfers/etc), but most people just wait. ^_^;

Oh well...A small price to pay for such an archive of AMV's ^_^
