What is the greatest evil?

I don't know what it would be called, but I hate it when people are sad. So... Wouldn't sadness be evil? If so, then I am a saint.

causing sadness isn't even evil
but evil goes from one person to another, so this topic is completely opinion, meaning what I stated before is not truely relevant to anyone but me. Stop reading this.

and if anyone noticed everything is a lie so i must be lieing

I think that Greed is the greatest Evil.
It’s the one that sickens me the most.
It’s greed that seems to push the worst of men into the most horrible deeds.
Ignorance however does play its part in what they do. Although somehow I don’t doubt they know all too well what they are doing just don’t care what damage they are doing. Or that they don’t know, but they don’t want to know.

They do what they do because they will gain profit, power or satisfaction. For me the worst of offences is rape, and Greed plays a major role in that. A rapist would seek to satisfy himself not caring what his victim feels. Guys would get a girl drunk and take advantage of her because they only care what about themselves.
Also, the more obvious things are those who would condemn a man into slavery to make a profit. Those that knowing poison and pillage the earth so that they can gain money and power.
People often sacrifice kindness, compassion, dignity for such things.

Although, I’m not too sure how Racism fits into greed. Or people like Toecutter, (no offence).
I think Ignorance goes into that. Ignorance and fear.

Right, most of this stuff seems to go back to selfishness, which can be considered a special brand of ignorance about the nature of the self.
