Thats exactly the same as me, I can't help but hear "Crawling" and "In The End" and picturing the video in my head. I actually "watch" the video in my head as I hear the song.

For me, though, I hear a song and I start picturing not only anime, but the layout of a video I'm sure to make as a result. I did it with all 3 of my vids up right now, and I also did it with the next few projects I'm sure to do ("Forgive Me" By Evanescence [can't accuse me of "overused", this song is basically unknown] to Samurai X Trust/Betrayal, "So Far Away" by Staind to RahXephon, and "Away From Me" by Evanescence [unknown again, to all but the REAL fans of the band] to Witch Hunter Robin).

Whenever I listen to Apocalyptica its always one Fluxy vid or another in my head, or Flint's vid.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

So yeah, When That Haibane Renmei video in AWA Pro(or was it mastrers?) used it..(I can't remember if it was vicbond or DannyWilson for some reason ><) I went totally insane.

I couldn't watch the video because I was all "NO! That's 'Soul 2 Soul''s song!"

Devolution can vouch that I acted so very rude while that video was played... Sorry. -_-;;

Thanks to Vlad Ponhert, I can't listen to 'It's A Sin' anymore without a little voice in the back of my mind doing the Jinnai laugh at the very end of the song...

Some others that have effected how I view the song:
Otaku Outpost's Macross/One Day More video
SHELLSHOCK
Jinnai and the Bugrom Live
Battle of the Mind: Can I Be?
and
Pop-Up Excel (whenever I hear someone playing that on the radio now, I have a hard time keeping a straight face)

Oh hell yeah... and every time I hear "Forget About Tomorrow" by Feeder, your vid makes a grand entrance into my mind.

I totally see where you're coming from, and they're both pretty much the reason why I enjoy listening to Apocalyptica, especially Fluxy, but for some reason I never put their AMVs with the music. For example, I love Endure by Fluxmeister, but whenever I listen to Hope, I can barely remember the scenes to Endure... I wonder why... o_0

Indeed, that has gotten me in more than my fare share of hostile situations. But let face it, who is going to take that song seriously now?
