I can almost feel a reply coming to this thread that dwchang in turn replies to with 'Die'.

Right Now Someone Needs to Watch A Dokidoki Video :P

Kwasek's A Thousand Miles video might be worth a look.

Also, I think there's been one or two amvs to the show "Piano" that should fit your requirements :)

for piano-only pieces try searching for classical songs arranged for piano, like the Moonlight Sonata or Fur Elise.

i'm working on a piano-only piece to Debussy's Claire de Lune.
but it probably won't be done for quite a while.

Nosir.

After more than 6 months, there is still ONLY ONE AMV that uses Piano AT ALL.

However, the audio used has two keyboards playing simultaneously, there's a little synch of tones to keyboard visuals, and it's only 10 MB of dark purple.

Whether these are positives or negatives has yet to be determined.

Acoustic or synthetic?

My Totoro AMV used a classical solo piano piece (an excerpt from Ravel's (1919) "The Tomb of Couperin"). I'm not sure it qualifies as a "good AMV". And it's no longer online.

My other Ghibli video uses John Barry's theme to "Somewhere In Time" - mostly piano with symphonic backup. That one is awaiting a remaster before I release it.

So I guess this doesn't help you at all.

Tinke, tinkle little twat... / What was I saying? I forgot.
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."
