To lipsync or not to lipsync, that is the question...
This is my 6th (?) AMV and I am very proud of it. I have done first draft editing and showed them to my friends to get feedback on what should be perfected. A few of them suggested that on two parts in the video if I did lipsyncing that it would make the overall video much better. There is only one problem.... I have never done lipsyncing. I am too scared of it, lol. All people I have downloaded from say that the lipsyncing was the hardest part. So my question is this. Do I let my video stay as is, only doing a few minor adjustments to enhance it, or do I buckle down and attempt to lipsync it, knowing that if I screw up it could cost my video its... "pizzaz"?

lip synching, at the very least, is a good way to get through sections you don't know what else to do with. if well excecuted it can make your video more appealing.
another consideration is whether you want reviewers to rate lip synch on the opinions page, and how much lip synch you put in. if you want reviewers to rate lip synch, try to put several segments of lip synching rather than just one or two, otherwise reviewers will either give u a low score or will not be sure what to give you.
but as pie row said, give it a try. it's good practice. look at the guides too. they have some good techniques.

Thanks for all your input guys, but after reviewing my whole video I decided that if I lipsync one part I would have to lipsync the whole thing, because there are several parts where they talk closely with the lyrics of the songs. but on most of these parts there is simply too much action for a novice like me to deal with at one time. I am also not blessed with Adobe after Effects as the guide suggested, and I suck at using photoshop, so I decided to just change the two parts to make them fit better. I think the next video I do I will attempt lip sync, but for right now, I like it the way it is. I will be annoucing the upload of my video some time this week, because I am still polishing it up. I hope you all take the time to download it, I worked so hard on it.
