Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

True some the FX where shamlessly riped-off some creators.
However, the uses and the software used were completly different
except for piano keying which is becoming close to a AMV staple
anyway. Also, in hinsight I did use to many lens flares ,but, as for
the keying or the reverb bar thought out the video. I still like
the way that looks :)

Hey man, nothing wrong with that. You should always make videos for yourself first.

Well for all the controversy (if you can call some people trying to grind your ego into the ground that) it a pretty alright video. Yes overboard on lens flares and the frames flicker a bit (may just be my comp) but the editing is solid. It would probably have a better rep without the effect but it sure looks like you had some fun with this.

OtakuForLife's reply to Semaj's comments wasn't an attack. Read again, it was me who was stupid enough to bring this stupid debate.

Now go make videos, or go to hell, but please stay polite and CONSTRUCTIVE when you make comments about a video.

Since when do people own the rights to effects just because they are the first to use them. You know what is a cliche, crossfades! They're like in every video! How unoriginal...

Anyways... You did overuse the effects in this video. I made a point to ignore them and watch the video underneath and I liked what I saw. If you have a version without all of those effects it would be pretty good. Unfortunately you already used up your local download slot for this video.

Sorry, I cleared out all the huffy files as of a couple days ago.
To make room for a few other projects I want to start :)

Hey, shouldn't you set an example when you tell someone to keep the discussion polite? :P
But damn it! Your avatar makes you so damn lovable!

Savia, no worries with the name sp. As for WilLoW's English, from what I saw and can still see, he has great English. Yes, it is excellent especially for it being his second language.
But just because it is his second language, doesn't mean I have to regard him any differently. If I learned his primary language (whatever that may be) and someone questioned my ability to comprehend context, it wouldn't be out of hand.., it would just be comment. Nothing more.

It wasn't a serious questioning of his ability though, it was only a return of spite.

OtakuForLife : I haven't downloaded your video yet, but because of me your thread became a little bit "messy", so I promiss I'll download it and make some comments
