Title: I don't want to run away (expermental)

Premiered: 2003-10-23

Category(s):
Drama
Fun
Romance

Song(s):
Daniel Bedingfield - If You're Not the One

Anime(s):
Love Hina
Love Hina - Spring Special
Love Hina Again (OVA)

Comments:
This is a very smbolic AMV and for most people hard to under stand.
Here's the basic ideas involved:

The music is part of the AMV it's self and the footage is the back-up.
The lens flares repersent ether love or the connection between the two of them. (note keitaro passes it in the ending scene of the AMV)
The video is neigher in the past nor the future tense ,but, both at once.

Specs:
Almost a whole month editing.
(other then that, "that's a secert"

Decated: For Stacy's birthday.

Oh, you'll be back...

What can I say? You asked for comments, so I'll give you only honest ones. If I could describe this AMV with two words, I would describe it as a train wreck.

I'll tell you why. First of all, your video comment was filled with spelling errors, right off this lessens the quality of your work. Right, I almost forgot your fiancée(?) that you "decated" this video to shouldn't read this, heh. To continue, presentation is vital, you failed with it right off the bat.

This may be minor, but your alias sucks. It's as creative as a log of crap. It's hard to have respect for someone named -Otaku4Life-. If I were you, I would come up with something more creative, maybe with meaning that isn't so cliché.

The AMV it's self.. where to start? You had a slightly original idea, but it back fired. Your lens-flares are painful to the viewer. The truth is that your video would have been a hell of a lot better without them, without any of the special effects. I could watch it again to give you more suggestions, but hanging myself would be too tempting. The scene placement with the music was decent, it was your fine point, and you ruined it! Try offering a version of the video without the special effects, you may actually get some not so negative comments.

For future reference, don't use a group like 'Nsync for an AMV, most people can't stand boy-bands. So using their material may not make your video too popular.

Ah, also, don't ever say that your music video has "deeper" meaning that most people wouldn't understand, you effectively pissed people off with that comment. If an AMV is made well, it should create it's own allure conveying whatever the maker has in mind. You have a lot of improving to do, to say the least. With practice makes perfect. Maybe you'll get there, maybe you won't. What's important is that you focus on a the project at hand, and always try to make your work stronger.

It's late, I'm going to sleep. Keep what I said in mind, if you want to make any improvements that is. And seriously consider changing your stupid alias.

One last thing; downplaying people publicly works badly against you as it seems. :P

Ok, you opinion was your opinion and yes my spelling does sux massively.
Taken comp II form the third friging time .. however, I have been told that
the use of those effects each for a certian sound is understood and
so is the over-all meaning. Also, I didn't mean to offend people I ment
to warn them that this was an experment and that I'm sorry if they don't
get it or don't like the video period. Goodnight, I have to-go-to bad
and why are you busting on my screen name? That's pretty low, man....

This has nothing to do in a comment about a video IMO.
What has his nickname to do with the video quality ?
The description, well, ok maybe it's filled with mistakes but what ?
And the use of NSync ? Does it have anything to do with his editing skills ??? Do you want us to use only Linkin Park, Korn and Evanesscscscsce because people enjoy it ? Learn how to write a review :?

WilLoW,

1.) The comment lays an impression on the viewer, and has also contributed to public ridicule. I won't say more.

2.) His name has nothing to do with the video quality, I never said it did. I only suggested he change it because whether you think so or not, names do have bearing on how a person, and in this case his work is related to, in the minds of people.

3.) If you want to show your work proudly, will you present it poorly?

4.) I never said it had anything to do with his editing skills, but it contributes to the view of his work.

5.) God no, those bands are almost as bad as 'Nsync.

6.) Learn how to comprehend what you read. OtakuForLife didn't ask for a review, he asked for comments. So I gave him just that. There is a difference between plain comments and a review ed.
