Anything similar to Hindi Sad Diamonds?

Anyone know of any groups or people who perform music similar to Hindi Sad Diamonds from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack? I'm also up for any recommendations for hindu or Indian-style music.

First thing I can think of is <I>ORION.78</I> from the various DDR games (specifically the one in 5th mix). Very loud, incoherent "Indian"-type chanting / screaming / singing.

Awful, awful song... very close to <I>Hindi Sad Diamonds</I> :D :D

I'm Indian and I found that song very offensive. I can understand what she's singing and I saw no correlation between that video and the song.

For a somewhat similar sound (melodically and rhythmically, but no Indian influence), you might try "God is God" by Juno Reactor.

I haven't heard the songs you're talking about so I'm not sure if you mean Indian like native American, or Indian like the country India. But, if it's the later, there's always Sweet Taste Of India by Aerosmith. Hope that helps!
