damn you make me wanna see more gundams series... annyway are you sure that that is the name of the gundam movie, alsow in that music vid, thee wer this guy (bond hear) fighting vs this other guy in brown the inside of the gundamns wer like digital screens and you everything goin out like explosions and stuff. Alsow remeber that the red gundam gets like realy smcked down and this ball comes out of it with i think the pilot in there that tried to escape and then the other one just puches it abck to the asteroid i think. then you know one gundam comes to push then others come they push it enought then they leave and teh esteroid turns around the planet with the parts that wer destroiyed of it like somme pouder.
Char's Counterattack, it's a movie a separet movie, has nothing to do with anny episodes or series, or does it have series????

Sounds like Char's Counterattack ...asteroid in question being Axis. As for the gundams...actually, that movie has only one (two if you count the Re-GZ as a souped up Zeta, but I digress) outside of Nu Gundam, the rest of those units were Jegans, GMs (can't remember which type they're up to by 0093) and Geara Dogas..
Plus, they tech. don't succeed in pushing it back (not as a whole anyways) the major pushing force results from Nu Gundam overloading and exploding...

Brown haired guy vs blonde-haired guy...red MS with a ball coming out, that's definitely Char's Counterattack.

As for how it's connected...it's a movie connected in the UC timeline. It's possible to watch it without any prerequisite viewing, but said viewing does help (the only major series that would contribute to the experience would be the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta)
If you haven't got the time/funds to track the series down, the CCA DVD includes a booklet that highlights the timeline up to that point.

OMG!!! i love that movie!!! i taped it when it first came out and use to watch it all the time!!! till i lent the tape to my teacher and he never gave it back!!! ihe borrowed like my sophmore yeart and i graduated HS last yr!!!! damn teacher...ne way it is the liek one of my fav animes i have seen the entire seris and its the best!!!! everyone must go and watch it!!! NOW!!

The only Gundams series I like are Gundam Wing and G Gundam. I don't really like the looks or character/gundam designs of the others.
