Serious AMV query

Like others said, I don't mind if they play, so long as they don't claim it's there's. I've had ppl e-mail me to play them at cons or fan clubs, and also known a few cons they played at that I didn't enter/was asked. So it's no problem, unless it's a RIAA meeting or something >_>

I'm fine with it, so long as the credit's given where it's due, and it's not being used against me or any other editor (RIAA purposes, etc). Personally, however, I wouldn't mind if they asked for permission. I know that they don't need to, seeing as how my work is unlicensed, illegal and uncopyrighted, but the thought's still there. And it still counts.

I wouldn't care at all if they played something of mine and they'd never even have to let me know...The only thing that would tick me off would be people including my stuff on a cd that they were selling. AMV's are not meant to make money for anyone anywhere.

It would be nice if they'd include bumpers so people that liked them could track me down for my other stuff but it's not a problem. I have seen parts of a couple of mine diced up and used as footage in other amvs and it didn't bother me too much either...it was just pieces and heck...it looked like crap after they compressed it again

Personally i feel that once i release my amv to the public they have a right to do with it what they want except re edit it. If they want to have a party and show it in this party ok. Its not like im loosing money by them doing so. Another thing would be if they were selling it that would be both wrong and illegal. And yes bumpers are a nice thing and all amv creators should think about adding something along the lines of a bumper.
