- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well, maybe if I was familiar with the anime you used, I would appreciate it more and see the theme, or story behind it, but since I've never seen 1 episode I can't really say much.

Hey, just dropping by to thank people for the comments on the effects (and the video). Yes, it was hell. I mean, compositing hell. Nate'll remember me clinging to his arm like a starved dog with big puppy eyes saying, "Please, please, no more composites today!" That's a pretty tame example of how bad it got during the production of the video, but yeah, we'll save that for any emails we get.
Illusion's a terrific program if you can get your hands on it, and it makes gorgeous particle effects (the cherry blossoms) with full control over everything and easy interface (the vocabulary is a cinch to learn).
Yes, sadly this will be the last AMV we'll be working on together for a while, but Nate and I are still on speaking terms so if I ever get to designing the Nightowl Pictures site then, hopefully, you'll see what else we'll be working on in the future

This was so much prettier and insanely artistic, while still retaining the story and being very coherent. I applaud you Nightowl, but I can't place this among my favorites just yet.
Saw it on the Pro tapes, and I was blown away by the technical and artistic aspects, but when I reflected on it, it was just too played out for me. Not to say it's a bad video, just not my favorite
