Type tool

I want to put subtitles to YATTA! by Happotai (don't worry I'm not planning to upload it on this site, its against the rules). Well I know in order to pull this off I'm going to have to import each line through Photoshop, which is a lot of work, and its difficult to align perfectly with other subtitles, or I could use the Type tool in premiere. Question is where the FUCK is the type tool. I have Adobe Premiere 6.0 and I could not find it after about an hour of searching.

I think that's only 6.5+. Might be wrong.
For my video i just did a few photoshopped cells. Takes no time at all. But i hear there's an even easier way through Vdub, never used at feature though.

Nope, that's how it is in 5.1 as well.

It works in premiere v6.0 as well.

If you are doing a whole song, I'd recommend using a real subtitler.

Use Sub Station Alpha (ssa) with a wav file to time the subs and then use the ssa virtualdub plugin or the avisynth version to add the subtitle script to your video.
