Mad World was amazing. Screw the crowd, assholes.

Very nice. I'll second all the accolades above.

I don't want to sound unappreciative, but this really should have gone into the Masters contest. Just one humble opinion. :)

Tash pretty much summed it up for me. The over all look of the vid was fantastic, but it lingered some, and being 5:30am in the morning with no sleep...lingering will leave me to spacing out.

Was the whole film projecter sound origionally in the song or was that added in by you? That was perhaps what made the whole vid seem more authentic.

Wow... I didn't expect this kind of response... thank you, everyone, for the kind words.

Jebadia - the film projector was recorded and added by me - manually (I had to add a clicking noise to each click that cinelook created). I had to keep watching this crappy old movie I shot when I was like 16. All I could think about was, "at least this is going toward something decent now..."

Anyway, tangent, and I'm back to work... thank you again, I'm glad people like it : )

 after effects basially became your bitch... :)
Holy crap night owl you take the whole AMV aritist deal
and again put the underline under the artist part. Just imagioning
what that took and having to hear that song 100's of times and using
the computer bully known as after effects , that deserves adobe to come down there and hand you their verison of medal of honor.

Once again nice job...

Am I the only one who hated it? I don't know, it just didn't do it for me. Too slow for my taste and just waaayy to repetitive.

BUT

The editing and visual effects were simply fuckin' beautiful and it's the only reason why I aint sending it packing to the recycle bin! Very artistic and very atmospheric, truly some amazing visuals man.

I liked Mad World better.

This was so much prettier and insanely artistic, while still retaining the story and being very coherent. I applaud you Nightowl, but I can't place this among my favorites just yet.

I liked Mad World better too : )

Tokyo - you aren't the only one who has hated it - lots of people have hated it, including some of my best friends : ) I've come to terms with finding that people either love or hate the video - or that variant, they hate the video but think it's very pretty. I'm actually glad there are people who hate the video - it feels more like a complete project that way, somehow. Maybe I'm just crazy...
