Jace is right, some people go too far. MinnieMoose and motemote have contributed very little but insults, mockery, and general stupidity. Why wait for repeated causes when they show no sign of being a good member around here, but only to continue being offensive? There is no reason for a warning, the rules are clearly stated.

Having members like this in our little "community" does nothing but cause spite and possibly even distress in some members. I know MJ thought MinnieMoose's childish rant was generally funny, but I sure as hell didn't and I know several others that were offended by it.

Mods, please at least consider this (whatever decision you make) and it would help if you give us a reason for keeping them here if you choose to do so. Maybe permanent expulsion is not the best course of action, but some measure should be taken.

Okay, that was quite clearly a joke...

Back on topic, yes it is sad and pathetically fucked up. I mean, I'm rude to people sometimes, but not off the bat like these guys. It seems their goal in life is to get up, eat, maybe jerk off, I don't know, I don't paticularly want to know either, and then get on the .ORG and start hassling anyone who crosses their paths.

So fucking what If they aren't breaking any rules. They're breaking simple rules of ettiquete. But apparently, the only way someone gets banned in this place is if they link to porn, talk about downloaded software (get real, MODs, you think it doesn't happen? For fucks sake, how can you be so naive. And someone discussing it doesn't equal it being commited, or transform this place into a nexus for illegal software trafficking.) and have a sig thats too large.

Fuck that, what kind of basis for on-line communication is that? If these guys can be less than civil to everyone for no apparent reason, then why can't we all? Fuck, if its good enough for them, then its good enough for us.

Then why doesn't that swing both ways? Why can't it be "if its good enough for us, its good enough for them"?

I seriously don't see what I've ever said as bad. Compare me to just about anyone else who posts as much as I do, and I doubt you'll find a thing.

I'm totaly liberal in my vocabulary, I just cussed at the mods. I cuss 5 times more IRL, no one cares about that.

It's what you reply to and how, ever heared the phrase "If you don't have anyhting nice to say, don't say anyhting at all"?

I wouldn't ban you yet if this was my forum, but I do think you're a jack ass and I don't like you at all.

Minniemoose however would have a one way ticket out of here on account of stupidety if this was my forum.

What did they do? I heard something about Minnie having made a post about how long distance relationships don't work (common belief, based on the majority failing), but it was deleted before I could tell if it was just a brutal attack or an actual discussion. Is that what this is about? I've seen a lot of personal attacks that never resulted in anything, certainly not a banning (unless it's against Phade).

I've seen flamings go on for pages before the mods stepped up (usually aimed at new members, not people who are respected and liked - that seems to be the real difference here). So this must have been a really brutal attack if you're going to kick the person out for it - that or it's just favoritisim. Which is fine since I like MJ as much as anyone else does.

Still, if you're going to ban them for flaming (verbally attacking others) on the forum, you need to ban everyone else who does the same thing. Just enforce that 'be courteous' rule and you'll have a nice happy community of 12.
