worst edits in anime

out of all of the anime youve seen on tv which do you think has the worst edits

i think the ones that i can really notice edits in are Dragon Ball, Cowboy Bebop. most likely Rurouni Kenshin and YYH. can any one else think of any??

Worst edits, eh?

THE worst edit is in Yu-Gi-Oh! where ALL the guns are edited out of the picture. Also, most of the fighting scenes among characters are taken out (this is not an edit but more of a cut).

Let's not forget Escaflowne and how much they buthered that series.

Still... the worst editing was for Southern Cross and Mospeda.

For those who don't know those two series... these are the other two series that got mangled and nailed together with Macross to form the show ROBOTECH.

Hell... Southern Cross didn't even take place on Earth!! But... with the power of editing and script revision, they made it all part of the Robotech continuity.

One of the worst (but funniest) anime edits ever:
*Nappa suddenly nukes a helicopter, quite unexpectedly*
Tenshinhan: Look! I can see their parachutes! They're all right!

(...of course they are, that news team holds the record for fastest time to put on a chute and get out of the chopper...)

Milo - Ah yes...Carl Macek, AKA El Diablo *still bitter about the fact the original Macross is THAT much harder to find thanks to him*
I mean, I wouldn't be too pissed about it...except for that interview I saw where he was talking about how the Macross fans should be thanking him for it (right...Macek, sure...)

Also, Endless Waltz had some pretty glaring edits when they ran it on Toonami (Mariemaia and Dekim's bloodless gunshots...it's OK kids...Dekim was only stunned by a rubber bullet upside the head...yeah...that's right...)

Other than that, the only other one that comes to mind is 0080: War In The Pocket (aired at Midnight and they STILL wouldn't let Misha drink booze ('soda') plus replacing Steiner's smokes with toothpicks...etc...etc...)

i would hate to be the voice actor for Tien back then. i remember that eps. lmao.
