Getter Robo: Armageddon

While pretty bloody all around, the shining example comes at the end of ep 8...

Oh, and the VHD movies and Ninja Ressurection.

Hehe, has no discernible plot, but its a good watch if only for the violence factor. Uhm, Ninja Scroll, S.CRY.ed (sort of mecha type stuff) spring to mind as well.

Biohunter (movie)
Angel Cop (OVA)

And if you're desperate you can try Fist of the North Star. The guy just sorta goes from place to place punching people and making their heads explode; something to do with pressure points or somesuch.
Who knows what fires burn in the souls of others, or what burdens weigh upon their hearts?

Aww, how could I forget Fist Of The North Star? I'm slipping in my old age...

I can't remember specifically if it had intense violence in it or not, but why not check out Angel Sanctuary? It's really cool.

I wish I could forget Fist of the North Star. Horrible show in my opinion; worse than DBZ. By the way, is FotNS a movie, an OVA or a series? A friend of mine showed me some of it, but I never bothered to finish watching it.

Although Angel Sanctuary has lots of blood, it's a disappointment if you are only watching it for the action, so... No.

VHD: Bloodlust wasn't that violent. It didn't event show the fight with the Wolfman.

I think you mean Jin-Roh. Most of the movies released by Manga are violent. ex.: Wicked City, Vampire Wars, and Devilman.

The Kenshin OVA, aka Samurai X is super violent and super sweet.
