sailor moon question

i recently decided to start collecting the sailor moon dvds and i want to get them all but im not entirely sure what order the seasons come in. i have the complete uncut first season box set (episodes 1-46) and am going to get the uncut season 2 box set today (which i believe is 47-98). there dont seem to be boxsets of the other seasons though and since i am not yet too familiar with the series i dont know what order they come in. i know they have names like "super", "S", "R", and "stars" but thats about it. can someone tell me the names of the subsequent seasons?

Well, R is the first season, then you have S (heart snatchers), then super S (pegasus), and stars would be the final. I don't really remember the official names.

Close Arigatou but not quite.

Season 1 ~ Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
Season 2 ~ Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon R (part 1 Return part 2 Romance)
Season 3 ~ Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S (super, features the Heartsnatchers, not a box set but uncut dvd's are available from pioneer)
Season 4 ~ Prettty Soldier Sailor Moon SuperS (super soldier (i think), features the Chibusa/Helios story, also not a box set but has uncut dvds from pioneer)
Season 5 ~ Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon Stars (last segment of the anime, features the Starlights and Galaxia.\ *cough* pm me about info for this *cough* not available yet on dvd...)

There's 5 seasons.

Also:
3 movies

The Promise of the Rose (Sailor Moon R) ~ Fiore story
Hearts in Ice (Sailor Moon S) ~ The snowdancers and Luna movie as I choose to refer to it as...
Black Dream Hole (Sailor Moon SuperS) ~ Chibiusa/Peruru, and the dream fairies story)

The movies come in an uncut box set or are sold individually either uncut/edited

Is the doomtree series included in one of the large boxsets? I got it once on tape (and pawned it afterward

) and it was seperate from the rest of the season sets. Is it different with the dvd collections?

There's an edited box set of just the doomtree series, i.e the first part of R...the same as how there's a whole big slew of edited dvd's (my advice go for the uncut!!!!!).
But that is included in the second uncut box (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon R)set being released.

Oh I forgot to mention...there is also a SuperS special called :Ami's first love, which is based on one of the chapter's in the manga. I don't know however if that is included on the SuperS dvds...(I only have 3/7).

4. Sailor Moon S
5. Movie: Hearts in Ice
6. Sailor Moon Super S
7. Movie: Black Dream Hole
8. Sailor Moon Stars

Yes though the movies appear not at the end but during the series of whatever name they are.

So technically the R movie appears between ep 83 and 84 for example.

But yes you are correct.
