for future shows or movies coming to CN or Adult Swim name what show and where it might be on Toonami or Adult Swim. then name what you think might be edit out.

Toonami- lots of edits blood, language, nudity is cut
Adult Swim-very few edits language is usually kept in except GD. very brief nudity is left in.

i dont remember seeing any of that well anyway i think that toonami will cut like everything good out of the show language violance blood gore and adult swim will do the same but not on such a large scale

well in Blue Gender they showed a little brief nudity. it was prety gorey near the end too. not as heavily edited as Bebop. im not sure but i think Trigun was left mostly in tact except for maybe the chicken shit lines. i didnt really watch that much of Trigun on AS so i dont really know.

one time a scene slipped by on toonami, i remember it very clearly:

It was another tenchi ep premere, at the end of the ep there was a scene with Ryoko sitting alone on the roof, and she says to herself "Damnit", and then the credits for the eps role, i sat back in amazement, not believing what i had just herd, coincedentally the next time that ep rolled around they had cut that scene.........does anyone but me remember this?

In a Kenshin ep (I don't remember which one), when it was still on Toonami, Sanosuke said 'damnit'. It was a pretty obvious thing.... but I guess they "forgot" to edit it out....

... why bother ... we all know and hate the edits they do ... and a good deal of us despise the majority of dubs out there (ie. old akira dub ... *shudder* evil ... pure evil).

jsut do what i do ... ignore the tv, watch less then 5 min a month and jsut stick to fansubs and dvd's. hell i can't even remember what channel the news is on anymore ...

i rarely watch tv myself. after watching the first few eps of Kenshin i said forget this shit im going with the uncut. and i havent watched it since. and yah some cursing does get by toonami some how. i mean even in YYH Yusuke said damn now and then. and after seeing some bits and pieces of Kurama vs Karasu fight in amvs and thats going to be shot to hell. i mean remember the eps of DBZ where Krillin got stabbed by Freeza?? oh wait i should say Frieza.

Actually, Toonami seems to be getting more lenient with their editing of late...
Case in point: Cyborg 009
This show let several things by that, in earlier days, Toonami would NOT have approved of including:
Shots of a Christian church
Dead body with blood (and knife still embedded)
and
Mentions of Hell and Satan
to name a few things

Not much, but it's signs they're making progress
