I don't know if they updated the guides or not, but they need to. Some of that is kind of easy to get, and the other is just beyond me. The instructions are faulty.

Heh, sure. ^_^ But I need to update it now that I've changed some of the steps I use - and I have to check the urls (I hear some of the ones I got from the org guides don't work anymore, so I'll have to check that). I was actually thinking about putting it on my site for the curious, I'll PM you when I get it up - probably a few days. [But it's just for ripping dvds and using avisynth, vdub, etc - it's compliant with Premiere *or* Wmm, but not really 'movie maker' dependent, and it's more for those making clips than those who edit directly with the vobs since I don't use Premiere.]
