Changing video info

Post by Kyodai » Fri Sep 19, 2003 4:38 pm

I have one of my videos labeled with the wrong artist. Whenever I try to edit the info it skips the music section and goes to step 4.
Can I change the music info after my video has been submitted?
To quote myself.... "It was like that when I got here"

You can only edit music and anime (steps 2 and 3) one week after you create the amv entry. I'm not sure why it's set up this way- there are a lot of inaccurate or mispelled music artists and song titles and probably a lot could be fixed if the creators could go back and edit the information.

The best you can do is write in your "comments" section the error and the correct artist.

thats what ive been doing. so if people think there geting a yyh vid there really getting a dbz vid even though i was able to change the title of the vid. it was probably set up this way after step 0 was made. dont know why step 0 would have any effect on it.

You *can* get this information changed. In the main member menu go down to 'Report a Bug,' click it then go to 'Request Video info change'.

Tell what you want to have changed and wait a week or so. I changed 4 vids this way, it just takes a few days for the mods/etc to get on it.

downwithpants: I think it's two weeks.

Kyodai: If
1) You entered the video less than two weeks ago and
2) The premiere date was in the past
Try again. Phade fixed a bug for me tonight relating to that.
