Not totally true...
You are allowed to make personal copies of multimedia content that you own, as long as you are the only one to use them.

This is the "right for personal copy", that is a modification of the "right for a backup copy" (which works only for books, floppy disks, VHS, but not CDs and DVDs, that's why for CDs and DVDs it's called "right for personal copy")

Of course here the fansubbers logo proves that he wasn't the one who made the copy for himself, but well, if he had downloaded hack sign and that nothing can prove that he wasn't the one who made the copy, it's not far from legal...

Sorry to raise again this subject, but I'm angry each time I see someone who says that it's illegal in any case to make copies.

NO, i meant, it's illegal to download footage. I said nothing about backing up media, because i know that it's legal. The point i wanted to convey with that quote message was not that it was illegal to backup your property, but that it is illegal to download footage.

And the video CAN be it's best if you buy a cheap dvd rom and rip the stuff, I know it's not easy, but somethings you want take time.
