Now, I'm sorry. I've donated to the Org so that the Donut can get up and running. I *didn't* donate towards a server that's pretty much filled with shit. I think we seriously need to consider moderation as far as new entries are concerned.

But really, what are you going to do? Even if you cut out the people who are open about their source, you can't get the ones who *don't* tattle on themselves - not if all they take is unedited footage. At best, you could go after them based on quality, proving they stole footage is a little harder.

I'd agree that vids like this, where the creator comes right out and says he stole the footage without permission or credit to the original editor, shouldn't be hosted on the site if it goes against the rules. It *does* go against the rules, doesn't it? Or is it the same thing as using downloaded footage - an ethical guideline rather than a clearcut rule? Either way, you can get rid of the open ones but you'll still have the ones who don't admit to doing it.

Well if enough people noticed it and enough people mentioned it to whomever that creator might be AND THEN if action was taken, it'd be setting an example for future ppl not to do it.

If it's not a solid rule, it should be. I'm really a money stickler and I don't want to see 5 AMVS mixed together with another song.
