Boy, is that anime ever misnamed. I digress:
Beautiful anime, beautiful story, beautiful music. Sparse but effective editing that supports, rather than detracts from, the story and visual 'feel' of the original. And the Scissorhands music is a masterstroke. It fits perfectly. Needless to say, very well done indeed, AD.

Is this essentially a retelling of the story of the actual anime or did you put a different spin on it?

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Well, that works very well to make it more credibly Fairy-tale-like. Still seems to preserve some dark humor. Really athmospheric, very well chosen.
Now I'd really like to see this little anime. I guess that implies a job well done on behalf of the AMV(er)
