i need wondows xp help!!!!
Ok i have this folder that i want to delet and everytime i delet it it comes back when i restart. Then i tried hideing it or moveing it to another place and it always comes back. I asked microsoft for help and they said they dont know, couse they prolly want me to call them and pay $5 a min, ef that cheap basterds. Well anyway if anyone can help i would apreciate it thanx.

Where is this folder? If it's in the Administrator's 'My Documents' folder, there may be a backup you'll have to delete. If all else fails, delete the contents and check the 'All Users' hidden folder under 'Documents and Settings' (this may not be there depending on your settings, but if it is, it makes a backup of anything in the Administrator's 'My Documents' folder). Delete the backup folder and you should be able to delete the original without it coming back. If it's a folder outside of 'My Documents,' that's another matter altogether.

yes it was in my documents thank u very much for your help i deleted the back up and now its gone it was so anoying how it just kept comeing back i wonder why microsoft did not want to help me it seems like a farily simple answer

Yeah, that backup of the Administrator's documents is a pain in the arse. I had it turned off at one point without realizing it, but I reset my computer. The only reason I found it again is because it was making backups of my amv clips - really eating away at my harddrive with useless space-wasters. I make it a habit to go through that folder ever so often to delete anything over 50mbs.
