My recommendation: recruit your loved ones into watching AMVs! Burning onto VCD's may help. My wife and kids have this odd idea that videos should be watched on a TV set. Make up a mix and then throw an AMV party. Or use a contest tape from a con if you've got one.

If you can get into the right spirit even watching mediocre, derivative or "oh so wrong" videos can be a bonding experience. Make up drinking games! Count the number of times Vash dances! Count fanservice shots! Count lens flares! etc

Did you know they make Caffienated soap now? It's absorbed through the skin

What I like to do (well used to) is purposely make bad AMVs and Make Zarxrax watch them... But I'm too busy for that...

Well, I'm addicted, but I've only got about 83 AMVs on my comp...
(I got 30 GB and about 10 GB left at the moment) Most of my space is taken up by actual episodes of anime... I'd make VCDs of all my AMVs... but I'm too lazy.. So for now I got 83 AMVs sitting on my comp, as well as premiere, Aftereffects, a and a number of other programs related to this...
