Hmmm...looks simple compared to all the keyframing I used in my DDR project this year....

Iroically mine ended up with about 400-500 layers in over 15 compositions... The final result composition was sluggish since I didn't want to prerender anything.... OH well....

Hi, my name is Anonymous...

a few months ago I tried After Effects, my friends said nothing would happen. But when I woke up in a strange hotel room with a sore ass, I stopped using it. I've been clean of After Effects for 3 months and 4 days now.

I've only missed out on most of the social functions of the year and my command is convinced that they need to make me miss out on the big one, but atleast whenever I *DO* get back, I'll be in NC with my Car, so that's good.
I've also missed a lot of net debate by limiting my social interaction to friends on LJ and the occasional e-mail.
And I appear to have also missed out on After Effects taking over the Music Video world in the name of 'creator's vision'.

Hmm, but where do I weigh in on it? I dunno, I'm just a sucky music video creator and if you don't get the joke that is the basis for my videos, you don't get them.

Speaking of which, I'm about this close to choking another officer (except I'll never see him for as long as I'm here) for wanting me to do a Cool Hoo-ah video for the people I'm with. The only problem is, all of the Raw Footage is sitting in his Air Conditioned Palace Office up in Tikrit... TWO and a HALF Hours AWAY!! Where there's another Combat Camera team that can do it. F-you sir.

Yeah I'm a dick, apparently, for mouthing off about scrapping basic video editing techniques and running off to Adobe to make the unreal apply, and I'm a post-production whore for using not just After Effects, but Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Freehand, Illusion, and any other program outside Premiere, Final Cut or two VCRs, but that is my choice and it is no one else's decision if I should stop that or not; I don't ever see myself quitting what I love doing and that is making AMVs in my free time. I make them for myself, for my friends, and for the general public to do what they will, but apparently I will never be making any videos for you.

Even though I don't use AE (I tried once), I wholeheartedly agree. And well, your DDR3 track shows me just what you can do in AE that makes me go O_O.

As for Adobe raping me. I don't know man, my ass feels sore every once in awhile after editing. And since you guys (Hsien, Ian or Andy) are predictable, no it has nothing to do with Trythil asshats!
