Post by OtakuForLife » Tue Aug 26, 2003 4:00 am

Category(s):
Parody

Song(s):
Linkin Park - In The End
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
Ren and Stimpy - Happy Happy Joy Joy
Classical Thunder - Flight Of The Valkeries
Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World
Anime(s):
SaiKano

Comments:
What happens when:

1) you make too many AMVs.

2) Watched your saikano fansubs one too many times.

3) You can't fall asleep becuase of a whole lot of random ideas
bouncing around in your head.

Answer:
A Saikano Radio tuner AMV

(ie What songs should not be mixed with saikano)

-- would have used DVD footage ,but, alas no cash and no american realise

Oh, yeah my next REAL AMV will be availble in 2 or 3 months....

(College classes are starting soon and I'll only be able to devote 2-3 hours a day to my hobby)

You know, someone has done In The End for real - it's in the AWA Pro contest... or so I hear (*waits for tapes*)

gee.. somehow that dosn't surprise me.
It would be an ok idea if there weren't several 1000 other LP AMVs.

I still think it kind of funny, to pop out that many wrong minded
concepts in one night :)

By-the-way all these are fully-workable and I could have made a decent
AMV for all of them. However, most of them are in bad taste and becuase
saikano is my favorite show. I kind of wanted somthing different ,but,
not overdriven or too over-the-top if I ever make one.

Thanks!

It's not really well known, to be honest, despite winning awards. I think I released it when not enough people had found out about the show (even though it was long after the show finished being released).

Glad you liked it.

Thus being #47 of the 50 most underrated AMV (for now :wink: ). I did see that video, but I tried not to see it TOO MUCH or else it'll ruin the emotional impact of the entire Saikano series. Once Saikano gets licensed (by Pioneer, I hope), you'll get a lot more reviews, and it WON'T be underrated anymore.

Yeah, that Linkin Park/SaiKano video in the Pro contest... FRIGGIN' OWNED. Yes, LP is over-done, but when a LP song is used *well*, it definitely shows. That Saikano/LP video was one of the few videos in the contest that moved me. I can't wait for this video to be put online so bashers can ear their words. :D
New AMVs: DQCF+P (various Street Fighter) | One Guitar (BECK) | Please Don't Make Me Cry (Paradise Kiss)
