No, I base it on how well it's done, with the final scores being on whether I enjoy it. It's the same with the top 10 list - reviewability *counts*.

If it's well edited it gets a 3 - if it's great, it gets a 4, if it's great and I like it, it may get a 5.
If it's okay and I love it, it will get either a 4 or a 5.
If it's poor, it gets a 2.
If it's poor and I like it, it will get a 3.
If it's poor and I hate it, it will get a 1.

If you consider how much reviewability counts for the final ratings score with 'opinions' I see nothing wrong with my scoring methods.

1 - This video should be erased like second impact and
have the same type of massive cover up.

2- Ok, I think that was an AMV.... alot of it didnt match.

3- Wow it's decent
I can sit back and say someone put some thought into this.

4- It's now part of my perment AMV HD storage and will be shown
to all my firends as soon as possible.

If you put your heart into it, it'll be yours - others may not get it. If it's general and appeals to the random masses, it'll get approval and acceptance.
