I think another thing might be that by describing something in detail might take away the magic of the AMV....kind of like in painting or photography...if you go into detail, the piece might not seem as special anymore. However, yes...sometimes I am interested in seeing how something was done, so the description can be useful.

Yes, but that's why I suggest reading my video description AFTER watching the video. It's after watching that the viewer generally has a question and thus the necessity to have a video description. There are those inquisitive people within the community who like (or hate) your video and want to know more. It's a lot easier than having someone e-mail or message you ne?

Again, I don't see what's wrong with one describing things like scene choices, reasons for creating the video, effects, etc. This is the first time I've actually seen someone complain about it.

I did have a discription of the vid, although it was fairly brief. If people would rather I go into more detail, I could do that.

I'm sorry if it seemed like a complaint. I guess I'm just trying tyo get a better grasp on why people write the long ones, and the feedback is very helpful. If something was written basically saying "look, look, see how hard I worked," that's different from getting a long description that might benefit other creators.

...well frankly I like to give long descriptions (if possible) about my vids. People might actually wonder what I did, or what was going through my gyroscope of a mind. (those things make me dizzy just watching them) People might want to know what you used, anything specific about the video like why you made it, did you make it from someone, is it a school project, does it contain gross nudity and violence, can you wear it with khakis, and other things, and hell, if the person wants to mention how hard they worked on in the fucking can, it's their damn video and they damn well better have worked hard on it. Now i'm going to rant..without using more than 1 paragraph...which is just continuing from the current one, so squint your eyes and....aaaahhhhhh fuck it, I don't feel like typing up a rant right now....
