I'm sorry, I missed the part where I put on the "random personal insults" light. Must have bumped the switch by mistake.

I found out how to fix that flicker.

Just as a tip of advice, you can remove this by right clicking the slowed clip, and choose Video Setup, and in the menu that pops to the side, Field Options, then click on Flicker Removal. This will make your clip nice and smooth without any flickering. (Had to learn the hard way.) Just a Premiere tip from Braveliver.

I noticed that too, but in the other cases where I've seen that (in my previews when I've forgotten to uncheck it, and in others vids), there is usually a flicker on both the top and bottom of the screen. In this case, I only see it on the bottom edge.

It could be that, or it might be a problem with the source footage. I haven't watched Utena myself, but I seem to recall reports of isues with the quality of the encoding of the DVDs.

It may or may not be an issue caused by Premiere, or anything Sarah did or didn't do.

I mean to say this in the op board too and will shortly, but thanks for the tip on the flicker. I will try that next time if it ever crops up again. I really didn't know where that was coming from. Good advice. Thanks very much. :)

Going backwards... I've had some problems with the video quality on the series DVDs (blips of static at the edges at cuts, for one thing), but the movie seems to be a LOT cleaner. I think the problem is probably due to the clips being slowed down. I'll have to watch out for that next time (repeating myself...moving on.)

Heh, well, it's one way to do romance. ;) Thanks.

Subject dropped, Nemoxs, if you say so. Just didn't know where the comment came from, but if there's no problem on your end, then that's that. *shrug*

Anyhow, thanks for downloading, anyone and everyone, and I hope you like it. :) (And even if not, hey, that's fine too. Let me know what you thought anyway.)
