Seems like everyone seems to want to be governor right now (why, I'll never know), to the point where "California Gubernatorial Candidate 2003" on a resumé carries about as much weight as "High School Janitor."

So I pose this question:

Which anime character would you like to see as governor of California?

My pick: Integra Hellsing. She's already had experience in leadership, and if she can out up with Alucard's shenanigans, a state legislature should be shooting fish in a swimming pool.

Hey, if a dead man can beat John Ashcroft for a public office....

The California Legislature is a pretty feisty, annoying bunch. I mean, one of their guys asked for AND GOT a minute of silence for a dead character on "The West Wing". Alucard is nothing.

Anyhow, my vote would be Captain Justy Ueki Tylor. Military experience, he seems to be able to impress the ladies and effeminate looking men, and things always seem to work out for him somehow.

Good points.

Hmm....change my vote to Daryun from Heroic Legend of Arislan. Former military service, not afraid to speak out against bad decisions, can deal with consequences, and isn't intimidated by overwhelming odds.

I think it should be Hotohori from Fushigi Yuugi.

1. He has leadership experience
2. he'll get the female vote

3. He feels compasion for the people he rules over

I also change my vote for Tylor though I have, as of yet, cast no vote to be changed.
