Haven't made any in a while but delving in new video genres and trying new styles/ideas (and hopefully learning something out of it) is what that keeps me challenged and interested.
I think I've made a video to almost every major genre or type, dance, action, lip synch (if one could even call that a genre), horror, romance, drama, parody, character profiles, adult, comedy, upbeat, sad, variety, CG-animation, live-action, cell-animation. Anywhere from 30 seconds to 8+ minutes. Music from the 40's to present day, hard-rock to sentimentals, intrumentals, dialog, sound effects and both english and non-english vocals. Of course I probably prefer certain genres more over others. Hmm looking at it, maybe that's why I'm slowing down. ^_^ or Damm.

Let's see....
my first was tragic romance/action set to 80's jazz....
the next was hardcore violence set to 90's rap
and the current is romance/dance set to 80's pop.
I've gained skills with each new vid, but not totall certain on my versatility. Trying to gain some of that as well.
think my next will be 70's funk set to comedic fanservice. haven't done either of those yet.

I try to be versatile, the more I have to work with, the more I can wither away at something new.
I'm trying to jump into all genres that I can, perhaps many all at once. Everytime I do a video I want to try something new with it, cook up some cheesy effect or some kind of underlooked music genre that I can use the video to make it likable again *cough* shameless country video *cough* and I'll do it again!

I am a pretentious editor working for a large film firm in the san fernando valley of california.
I used to live in the Uk but my telly broke so I moved to atlanta to edit for a rock band by the name of Deep Purple.
When that gig broke up I decided to move to Quebec in canada and edit for a graphic firm whom made toothpaste commercials with pink milk, who drinks white milk and eats brown cookies anymore? I know I don't. There I met Sam Roberts, a relatively unknown Canadian rocker at the time and amassed a large anime collection featuring butterflys and several movies spanning across a large wall.
I then moved to Baltimore where I worked as a professional editor for the now defunct jurassic park TV series. While there I lived in a squalid apartment devoid of all cleanlieness and life. Things were good.
I started a gig in Virginia working for a small development firm as their web engineer, which was a far off step for me normally, but a good change. I was very annoying to my co-workers and was fired promptly.
I hitch-hiked across america to SFV, CA and set up shop in a small internet company called Telcomonotech. We provide wireless service for the area's largest stock broker service.
What you are experiencing is in fact, an interlude.
