So why fight it right? I'm saying this because if you refuse to accept the fact that anime is being "re-constructed" with each release, you have no right to complain because all anime is based off something pretty much.

Currently, I'm all for the "weird blend" anime...

Especially the laugh-till-you-die fanservice anime that make you cry in the end due to well done character development... [PLEASE SERIES!! *cough]

Fanservice is all well and good and I like the giggles, but still, if I'm looking for something "unique", I may as well look for those blends...

To get off topic just a little, I propose a challenge back at you. Take that statement you just said about dumbasses and apply it to your past complaints against 'overdone' amvs. See if you can find any hypocrasy (sp) there. ^_^

What's true for anime and the fans who love it, is true for amvs and the fans who love it. If you pick at one, you have to allow people to pick at the other. And if we're dumbasses for complaining about overdone anime, who's the dumbass for complaining about overdone amvs? ^_^ Isn't life grand when you contradict yourself?

Anime is aimed at fanservice, but different fans will like different types. It's great that you enjoy the ecchi style humor, and the harem (or mommy whatever you said) style girls on one guy type show. It's great that watching the same style comedy over and over never gets dull for you. That's just absolutely wonderful for you, and I'm envious at your ability to laugh at it after multiple viewings. It's great to have different anime with a similar theme that appeals to you. Wonderful.

But keep in mind that for others it does not appeal to them, it is not aimed at servicing them, and so it is just one big mass of the anime with a similar theme they don't care for. And for them it's overdone. This is the same thing you've said about dbz vids - because you DON'T LIKE IT. When you don't like something, and you see a lot of it, it is overdone to you. That's all people here are complaining about - the large number of anime with themes they don't like.

Just because they react this way doesn't make them dumbasses any more than you would be dumb to criticize a genre you dislike, and one you see as overdone. Hop down off your horse for a minute and read what you're saying. If I'm a dumbass for disliking Tenchi (an anime with a bunch of nice looking girls all hanging around a sap) or other anime with similar themes, then what are you for disliking DBZ (an anime with random fighting and drawn out action sequences) or other anime with similar themes? What's good for one is good for another. If I'm a dumbass here for having my preferences, so are you. ^_^ That's how it works out.

And that's what makes free choice so nice, and freedom to speak for and against anime based on personal preference. Just keep in mind that no one was calling names until you showed up. And one person saying they don't like an anime title should *not* be taken as a personal assault. You've complained and 'dissed' a number of anime that other people like, and few of them have jumped up to call you a dumbass for having your opinion. There's no need for that - and it hurts your cause.

[And as for your question, I don't remember the title, but doesn't the main guy turn into a girl in the daytime? A really ditzy girl who's absolutely gagga over the main heroine? ^_~ My friend forced me to watch the first few episodes a while back.]

Amvs can be changed. You can OPINIONATE and HELP people... I'm NOT being hypocritical here. Don't compare anime to amvs.

It's hard to make that "new" amv, I have accepted this, however, I won't accept that soo many newbs need DBZ amvs. [seriously, do we need more dbz amvs than anime?]

You completely disregarded everything I said about free choice in anime, and continued to bash DBZ (an anime other people may care as much about as you do Onegai Teacher). [then again, everything is modified to an extent, except for the fact that amvs are MUCH more easier to "help on" than anime...]
