Yeah at first I was feeling really good. She gave me too much, though. I never laughed. I just got quiet and I couldn't help but focus on this little noise until it got louder and louder. I didn't even feel like I had a body o.o Then I freaked out and she gave me oxygen and I was all right.

No one should be scared, especially from anything I've said. The surgery was really quick and I didn't hurt. Like I said before the hardest thing I think is right after when you have the gauze in your mouth.

Nothing to really be scared of, just a little pain, lots of gauze, and gumming baby food and pudding for a week. Trust me, it's not THAT bad. My brother got all 4 of his out (gum-cutting and everything) with only novocaine and he lived.

Unless you have a papercuts-make-me-scream-my-head-off low pain tolerance, I strongly suggest local (novocaine) over general anesthesia (putting you in La La Land). It's a much faster recovery.

It's better to use novacaine, especially if you intend to drive yourself back home or to college right after the dental work. I remember having half of my face numb on one trip to the dentist, and I rode my motorcycle to the appointment. The trip back was fun!

No novacaine (does not work for me at least). I had to have one of my wisdom teeth pulled. I had the gas trust me on this one, get some one to drive you. I have a phobic fear of dentists, and the gas was the only thing that keep me in the seat. The novacaine thing never worked for me and wisdom teeth are a little bit harder to take than pulling regular teeth.
Just dont breathe TOO much of it. I had a friend who worked in the dentist office and she let me breathe so much of that stuff I was tripping.
It was fun though, so for the rest of the day I came home and watched anime with a TOTALLY different perspective.

I was afraid of the drill at first as well (because my teeth before I was 16 were in excellent shape, except for a front incisor chipped in a bike accident). However, I had to have months of appointments, because my dentist couldn't get the mold right for the crown. So, I got used to all the fun needles and tubes.
