Anyway, I'm not sure that this AMV was made to be watched, alone, in front of your computer...see it as a video that you put as a background when you're having a meal with friends, or something like that

Other than that, for the DVD footage, it is true that some people did not use DVD source, and well... yes it's a shame. But it is so difficult to have so many people interested in the project...
What should be done ? refuse the video once it's been done, because the footage was not at DVD quality ? It already took 4 months for 12 minutes...
So I don't know

When people swear that they have DVD footage...I trust them...
And overall the quality of the video is fair, IMO...

I downloaded it and really enjoyed it! It was an honor to be part of this project ^^

As for downloaded footage, I used a HK DVD and I can see how some people might think it's downloaded. My segment was the Puni Puni Poemi one. It has a kinda smoothened look to it. (shrugs) I tried ^^;;

I hope I can get another track and this time use a regular DVD instead of HK.

Between July 8th and July 12th included, AniMix downloads totalized 180 GB (about 1800 downloads in less than 5 days). That makes an constant average of about 400 kilobytes/s uploaded by our server, probably with peaks at 1.6 megabytes/s.
