Now, I know it *does* have the signature, and it *is* compatible, but since I don't know why it's reading it wrong, the easiest thing to do would be to disregard that setting that halts anything without the proper 'compatibility.' Does anyone know where you change the settings for that on Windows XP? I must have done it once before, because I've loaded a lot of software that wasn't signed by Microsoft (nearly all my editing software). But I can't for the life of me figure out where the setting is on this computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All I've managed to find out so far is that the 'Designed for Windows XP Logo' is a 'wonderful' way to keep your computer safe from unqualified program files. I can't find anything on how to turn the safety measure off.
