No, thankfully. I slept for a good 11 hours and woke up after having a dream about starring in a school play (I don't even go to school!) where I got drunk on stage and got chased home by angry Death Metal midgets on a garbage truck... I have no idea what that has to do with this thread X_X

to be honest, I wonder if there's anything left to rant about - though I'm glad this didn't degenerate into a flame war.

I haven't slept yet (woke up sometime yesterday afternoon), but I plan to pass out any time now. ^_^ I love to argue when I'm half asleep, it makes it more of a challenge. But I think Otohiko's right. This argument has pretty much come to a standstill. At least, I *hope* it has. There's no point arguing over what sort of animes you like - that's all opinion and preference. ^_^

That's YOUR problem with mainstream popular anime. The crowds build up, split into 3 groups. The lovers, the haters, and the ???.

Even after this thread, I'm in the haters group.

My fav anime are all raritys and I have no problem with sitting back and keeping them ALL TO MYSELF!! bwahahahaahhah

I'm not going to argue that the anime I love is the best since:

a: I don't want you ogling MY MIZUHO...
b: This war has been fought many times and again, when it's done, nobody gives a shit...
c: None of my anime need a gajillion episodes to make them good. Hell, some of my best need only 12 eps!!

Case and point: Quality over quantity. I want YOU thinking my top anime are stupid...

I've seen DBZ...

Well, it's not so much that there are dbz haters, but that people who hate it often flame or degenerate those who like it. So long as the haters aren't attacking the people who like the anime, I have no problems with them myself. ^_^ I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to anime preferences, as long as people respect my preference, I'll respect theirs.

God, i finally fall asleep after being awake for nearly 3 days and you guys are still at it? Here's the lump summary:

Villians are exactly the same, they want domination/destruction of the universe. Goku defeats them one way or another. (Whether it's forming a spirit bomb or helping out with a kamehameha.)

Each big fight between bad guy and villian takes easly 3-30 episodes. The rest of the time is spent training and eating.

There is nothing beyond the fights other than one or two lil characters feeling they've gotta do something (Vegita becoming stronger, Goku wanting to brawl for the fun of it, Goten and Trunks to have fun).

You have a badly animated monkey fight with multi-colored enemies EX: pink, green, purple/white.

Just accept that you like badly thought out shows with weak plots that go no where (plot wise, not setting wise).
