  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Animix part 1 released

Post by WilLoW :--) » Tue Jul 08, 2003 6:12 am

After more than 4 months... the first part of Animix is finally here !

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=19435

leave reviews please, the creators will appreciate.

I'd also like to show this video at cons in a not competiting way... if you know who I should contact for any convention, please let me know.

We need participants for the next 45 minutes of the project, but at the moment I need some rest :)
I'll let you know when we'll be working on the next parts.

Enjoy the video !

(Oh, I almost forgot : music : eurodance from the nineties, Anime : various, genre : fun )

I'll try to upload a better quality version when I have time (I have a 1st pass XVid that is 295 MB) for conventions. But I think that the one that is currently downloadable has fair quality... what do you think ?

Oh, by the way, there are german "lyrics" in the intro that I didn't understand...(even if I asked to german people...)

When Faye says something and looks disgusted... what does she say ??

well, it is ok, but if they can have it better then they want it better (most likely a DVD-Quality MPEG2) ;)
I'll ask the guy of the con tomorrow, then we can decide.

I don't understand it either correctly
I suppose she says "Ahhh, ein Stadtmensch" (with an i instead of an e in mensch) In response to "Guten Tag, lieber Schallplattenverkäufer"
In english this would mean "Ahhh, a dandy" and "Good afternoon, dear recordseller"

Nifty stuff.

All I have to say is that these multi-editor projects need to put down a BAN on downloaded footage being used by editors 'cause the quality of said footage sticks out like a sore thumb against people using DVD footage.

...but unfortunately they didn't really look at this requirment.
At least the parts with Gundam Seed and Stratos 4 weren't done from a DVD source. But they look good.
