Were Mihoshi and Kiyone in a close relationship in which Mihoshi mentally and physically abused Kiyone?

Just something I came across ...

Mihoshi is a little-----slow in my opinion. I could see Kiyone being the abusive one but I can't see Mihoshi saying a mean word to anyone.

Mihoshi is exceptionally smart, she just lacks common sense and the ability to focus on the long term. As a result, she comes across as rather ditzy...but then, she is...

I could see them in an abusive relationship. Where Mihoshi is constantly doing dumb and careless things that injure Kiyone, and then pulls a guilt trip when Kiyone gets angry to the point where Kiyone can't leave since Mihoshi doesn't *mean* to injure anyone, and Mihoshi is a sweet 'slow' person who just doesn't know any better - and so the physical abuse continues (quite by accident given Mihoshi's clumbsy nature) and Kiyone is riddled with guilt and can't help but resent Mihoshi for it, but can't say anything since Mihoshi is such a sweet, sweet harmless person. Yeah, I can see that being an abusive and psychologically scarring relationship. Accidentally, of course.

In a nutshell, no.

Mihoshi's father is one of the very top people at Galaxy police. His daughter works there. Kinda like the nobody is going to fire the bosses daughter kind of thing.

Mihoshi is sweet, loyal, good hearted and considerate. She is also a excellent pilot(except when landing on planets with no landing beacon) and is actually smart with amazing powers of observation.

Her rather long, lengthy, and detailed report to Galaxy Police Headquarters is evidence of that.

Unfortunately she is also forgetful and clumsy and panics. I think part of her problem is a lack of self confidence. She was unsure facing Ryoko but on Kagatos ship facing the defenses she was upset and scared but when push came to shove she showed she was an excellent shot.

Some of the space combat scenes and one of the version of events where Mihoshi fights Ryoko over Earth showed she is an exceptional pilot.

You have heard how some people are good with machinery? Mihoshi is an anti machinery person. If she touches it there is very likely chance she will break it. Thats why Washu gets so upset whenever Mihoshi comes into her lab.

Kiyone was the the up and coming rising star who graduated 2nd in her class at the academy. Unfortunately she was assigned to be Mihoshi's partner to watch over Mihoshi and keep her safe and out of trouble. I dont think she had a clue what she was up against.

Mihoshi adores and loves Kiyone like a sister and best friend. I think she idolizes Kiyone because Kiyone is all the things she wants to be. Strong and in control. Mihsohi is often like a little girl with no self control. Example was when they were at grocery store and have very little money. Mihoshi wants snack and to go Karaoke but Kiyone says no they dont have money. But Kiyone does give in to please Mihoshi.

Kiyone loves Mihoshi like a sister. the sister you want to kill because she is the little sister that always gets into trouble and you get blamed for it because you were supposed to be watching over her. Everytime Kiyone gets ahead Mihoshi does something to screw it up.

It is not unrealistic to wonder if Mihoshi does this sometimes on purpose so she wont lose the most important person to her and her best friend in the entire galaxy, Kiyone.

The scene where Kiyone is packing to go to Galaxy HQ and Mihoshi is crying and wont give back the suitcase shows how much she cares for Kiyone.

But in the end they are best pals and very close friends and Kiyone always sighs and forgives Mihoshi because thats what friends do.
