Or Xenogears if you can find it. Gawd, but that game was gorgeous.

FFXI is a MMORPG, combat is realtime, but you don't do the endless click click click thing that made Diablo so tedious for me. Combat starts and your character will automatically fight and defend using base attack and defense skills. In order to use special attacks, you select the attack from your menu, and upon the next attack, the special is attempted. The only real new innovation for combat that I have seen in FFXI is that groups can do chained special attack combos that are quite devestating if pulled off properly.Cagbagger wrote:ffxi like diablo or something, without the realtime?

Grandia Grandia Grandia!! but if you want something that's EZ to find, get Chrono Cross, btwn the 2 I'd pick FF9, LOD is a little to FF8-like to me ;-pgundamzuki wrote:I've only ever played FF7. I've got an emulator for FF3 but i haven't played it. I'm thinking of getting another one person RPG but i'm kinda stuck between FF9 and Legend of Dragoon. any suggestions? Oh, and i only have a PS1. My roommate last semester said FF3 was the best (story wise) of all the FF so far, is that true? Oh well, I guess, not having played many RPG's i kinda sound rather clueless. Who knows...
