Azumanga, Hellsing (love that opening track), and "The Violinist of Hameln" (the orchastrated track was sweet.)

I hate Evangelion but... IT'S INTRO IS EPIC!!

Excel's intro is just weird... not for me
yet I like Love Hina's intro painfully...

Yeah Chronicles of the Heroic Knight had a fantastic Maaya intro...

Those are cool... ^_^ Tenchi Universe and Dual: Parallel Trouble had club style music that r0x0r my b0x0rs though...

One Piece. Great animation, nice showcasing of the main characters, and a HIGHLY addictive song!

Evangelion. Classic.

Utena. Kickass animation and another highly addictive song.

OUTLAW STAR! Love the animation, and the song just gets me to start headbanging

Dragon Half's outro is great.

I personally love Saikano's entire opening. I'd love to re-create aspects of it in a video.

Key the Metal Idol's openbing is incredible. Hauntingly lovely song and wonderful visuals.

I also second Lain and Eva.

I've always liked Trigun's opening for some reason, even though it's kind of sparse and uninteresting. It's the music, no doubt.

Azumanga Daioh has an excellent opening, in my opinion. Not too flashy and not too bland. And a great song, to boot.

The Oh! My Goddess OAV openings, as previously mentioned, fit the series well.

Love Hina has one of the best. Who can't love the upbeat catchiness of "Sakura Saku" ?

The Evangelion one is classic, no doubt. "Cruel Angel's Thesis" has the perfect blend of tension, drama, passion, and even upbeat sound for the series. Had the series been better handled, and not tried to be a combo monster of the week/conspiracy plot/rambling philosophical work, it would've been tight.

The Super GALS! Kotobuki Ran opening, with its bright visuals and Japanese ska, is good.

The opening to Sexy Commando Masaru-San is one I like. It misrepresents the series somewhat, though. If only someone would pick it up or finish subbing it

. The opening song is "Romance" by Penicillin, if anyone is interested.

A terrible opening to a great series (in my opinion), is the one for Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Terrible song, and I don't need to see some real life Jpop singer overlayed onto an animated background.

That's about it, off the top of my head at this moment.
