What do the administrators consider graphic violence????

When I do AMV of my favorite anime I like to take the action scenes and put them to music, and we all know how graphic Japanamation can be, now I don't keep showing a graphic scene over and over, but I can't see away around it not being graphic since most anime is pretty graphic, unless you are watching pokemon or beyblade ?

I think the difference would be determined by amount of blood, what's actually happening, and how much action is actually shown.

For instance, I don't think anybody here would classify the battle scenes in Princess Mononoke as graphic violence, even though that anime is clearly intended for an older audience (let's put it this way, I wouldn't take a 6-year-old to see it). There's moderate blood and at least 1 decapitation, but it isn't coating the walls or anything.

Graphic violence would be something like Kite, Spriggan, Fist of the North Star, etc. People getting arms hacked off, complete with volcano-loads of blood. Exploding bullets (Kite), and in North Star's case, randomly exploding heads.

Graphic violence is exactly that: graphic. They show you EVERYTHING. Severed spewing arteries, brain soup, etc.

Hope that helps.
